Bucket head
Today at Ben's great grandmother's place in Fort Lauderdale he decided to rumage through her cabinets and then tried wearing this bucket/bowl as a hat... he's obsessed with hats, and almost everything is a hat, but this choice was exceptionally funny.

Ben's first haircut
We took Ben to get his first haircut while in Charlotte. We visited our old family friend Renee who happened to have an afternoon appointment avaialble at the last minute, and since she has been cutting various family members' hair for the past 20 years, we figured is was the best time to give the boy a trim.

Ben's birthday party on the Rollei
For Ben's birthday party Dara and Ronni arranged a park gathering and Ben's uncle Chad, aunt DeeDee and cousin Caleb were in town from NC to celebrate.

Tomales Bay with Ben and Mary
In the late winter we took Ben's aunt Mary to Tomales Bay for some roadside oysters. It was a little cold and breezy, but well worth the trip. I took the Rolleiflex with us and caught some shots that I forgot about until recently processing a bunch of rolls.
