A happy boy!

Buttons woke up at six this morning, so I brought him into bed with us and he slept another two-and-half hours.

Life changing literature, a MUST READ....BINKY.

Once I finally got Ben out of his ExerSaucer we packed up and headed out for lunch. We were barely gone an hour just down the street and he fell asleep again... he didn't even wake up for the crib transfer.

The past couple of morning when Dara leaves she puts Ben in bed with me, and usually after about 15 minutes he falls back to sleep. Today he slept for an extra 90 minutes before Petey woke him up to eat. Here are some shots from the past couple of mornings, including one where both Ben and Petey were lazing in bed and some of Ben having breakfast.

Tonight we took Ben to see his buddy Lucas for dinner. He stayed up way past his normal bed time so when we got home, he was out cold.

Ben was in a bouncy mood this morning, but I managed to catch him on pause long enough for this upward gaze.

After the doctor, we headed to the market for some household staples (milk, oj, and a tub of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter light) and decided an afternoon coffee was a great idea! We went next door to Peet's and indulged in an iced half-caf, non-fat, sugar-free vanilla latte and a strawberry scone (for mom, of-course). We sat outside and people watched, and Ben had a lot to talk about!
